Individual & Family Counseling

Founded 1961, The Center for Family Services has provided professional, confidential mental health counseling to individuals, families and children on an outpatient basis to assist with problems including martial issues, family discord, substance abuse, domestic violence, grief and loss, trauma, depression, anxiety, and life transitions.

The program helps individuals and families build upon strengths and resources to develop strong social relationships, improve coping skills, lead satisfying, productive lives and gain knowledge of how to access necessary services.

The Counseling Program also provides the Trans-Parenting Program®, a State-required and Palm Beach County court-approved, four hour class for divorcing parents. This innovative and educational program is designed to teach effective parenting during the transitions of divorce and parental separation. It emphasizes each parent’s responsibility to provide a nurturing, non-threatening environment for his or her child(ren).
