Partners for Change – Outpatient Substance Abuse Program
Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County is seeking a full-time therapist to work with teenagers and adults in the outpatient substance abuse and co-occurring treatment program. This position will involve the therapist working with clients and their families in the office, facilitating individual and group sessions. The Therapist will report to the Chief Operating Officer. The Therapist will have a graduate degree in behavioral science or related field of study obtained from an Accredited College or University, be licensed or actively pursuing licensure in the state of Florida, and have at least one (1) year of experience working with individuals and families in substance abuse prevention and recovery. The Therapist will participate in outreach events and the work schedule will include working at night (two days per week). The Therapist must be experienced in using or be able to learn, and implement the evidence-based practice called Partners for Change Outcome Management System (PCOMS). The Therapist must be computer literate and able to document to the highest professional standards required by all funders via electronic health records. Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).
